The ADAMI Group

About us

The ADAMI Group is an informal group of 90 volunteers who, since 2006, has the goal to identify all the available information on the History of the maltese families.
This group is led by Christiane Josyanne, Bernard, George, Nicolas and Thierry.
Our records are, in particular, Baptisms, Marriages, Burials, Census and Notarial Acts.
Our publications focus on BMB and Censuses.

Our sources

The Group primarily used records named "ADAMI", but also certificates issued by the parishes, records bought from some parishes, records conducted on site by members of the Group.
Despite the care and attention given to our transcriptions, it is certain that errors or inconsistencies may exist, for various reasons (errors in the sources, misreadings, typos, etc ...).
We ask Genealogists should note these gaps from other official sources and let us know, for analysis and correction of our bases.
