This database, covering the period 1870-1940, was compiled by Mark CARUANA (migration expert), from documents available at the National Archives of Malte.

A large part of the collection has been digitised and is freely available online: when the passport application exists as a PDF at the National Archives of Malta (Arkivji), an icon in front of the number, in the "Nb" column, opens it directly. Not every year is covered by the digitisation.
