Victoria

Overview

Ir-Rabat, also known more simply as Rabat, is the "capital" of the island of Gozo in Malta.

Commonly called Città Victoria so as not to be confused with the town of Rabat on the island of Malta. This name was given to it in 1887 by the English government in tribute to Queen Victoria.

The total population of the town is 6,911 inhabitants.
