History
Għargħur was a small community living in a place where drinking water and fertile soils were particularly scarce. Despite this, the inhabitants funded the construction of a parish church and several other chapels that house beautiful Baroque art. The main attraction of the village, apart from its countryside, is the Church of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle.
