Porto Salvo

Presentation

Our Lady of Victories Church is a Roman Catholic church located in La Valette, capital of Malte.

It is the first church built by the Order of Saint-Jean de Jérusalem in La Valette. Its name commemorates the victory of the knights of the order over the Turks following the Great Siege of 1565.

Construction began in 1567, but its façade was redesigned in the 18^th century.
