Locality of Gudja in Malta

Il-Gudja, also known as Gudja, is a village in Malta with 3,050 inhabitants. Located on a small hill south of the capital La Valette, Gudja overlooks Malta International Airport.

On the coat of arms of Gudja, one finds the inscription "Pluribus Parens", which means "Mother of many children". These children are Safi, Kirkop, Ħal-Farruġ, Luqa, Mqabba and Tarxien, which were all once an integral part of the parish of Gudja.
